This Privacy Policy explains how Optemistix (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Optemistix mobile application (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

• Account information — your name, email address, and a user ID we assign to your account.
• Content you create — affirmations, bookmarks, to-do items, reminders, and similar in-app content.
• Community content — messages, reactions, and media (photos, videos, voice/audio) you share in circles, and call participation metadata.
• Purchase information — your subscription/purchase history. Payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play; we do not receive or store your full payment-card details.
• Technical data — a push-notification token and basic device/session information needed to operate the App.

How we use your information

• To create and manage your account and authenticate you.
• To provide core features — affirmations, daily content, community circles, messaging, and calls.
• To deliver push notifications and reminders you enable.
• To process subscriptions and manage premium access.
• To respond to support requests and keep the service secure.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with third parties for advertising. We use a limited set of service providers that process data on our behalf solely to operate the App, including:

• Cloud hosting and database (our backend infrastructure provider);
• The Apple App Store and Google Play (purchases and subscriptions);
• Push-notification delivery, real-time calling, AI content generation, and transactional email providers.

These providers are bound to use the data only to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Data security

All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.

Data retention and account deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time:

• In the app: Profile → Settings → Delete Account.
• By email: contact info@optemistix.com from your account email.

Full details, including what is deleted and what is retained, are available at our account deletion page. After deletion we retain only a minimal, anonymized audit record (no name, email, or personal content). Purchase records held by the app stores are governed by their policies.

Children

The App is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13.

Your rights

You may access, correct, or delete your personal information through the App or by contacting us. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
